How Homepedia makes money

The Homepedia Assistant is free for everyone who uses it.

Rates published under the Consumer Data Right are collected from every bank and lender every day. Whether a lender works with us has no effect on whether its products appear or where they rank.

Lenders, people who work for lenders, and brokers can also publish information of their own: products the Consumer Data Right doesn't cover, corrections, and the prices available through their channel. Before anything they submit goes live, we verify who they are, using the process published on this site. They pay Homepedia a fixed fee for that verification and for keeping their information current. The fee is the same for everyone at each level.

We are not paid commissions or per-lead fees, and nobody can pay to rank higher.

Everything a lender or its staff supplies is labelled with who supplied it and when they last confirmed it. Independent companies offer tools for lenders to publish data in our open format. Homepedia has no ownership of, or commercial arrangement with, any of them.
